What each scenario covers
A portfolio drifts when its holdings grow at different rates, and rebalancing is the trade that returns it to the weights you chose. Each scenario starts from that situation, lists the steps from connecting a broker to an approved rebalance, shows the arithmetic on a small invented example, and says plainly what the automation does not do. They are written to be read before you connect anything, so you know which mode applies to your account and what stays in your hands.
The two brokers differ in one important way: how much can run without your approval. On a standard eToro connection every rebalance waits for you, while a Trading 212 connection can also run fully automatically on the main account. The scenarios explain the difference in context.
Before you read them
The scenarios use invented figures to show the mechanics. They are not forecasts, and rebalancing does not promise a return: it restores a plan you chose.
